I have been to San Fransansico during the thanksgiving. I lived with one of my high school classmate, Jiaqi, in Standford and I also have a middle school classmate, Sisi, working in KPMG near Starnford.
Jiaqi's parents came to his house to cook a really big meal for us on thanksgiving. haha, I was a little nervous when first met his parents for I seldom meet parents of a boy at the boy's home. =.= I was so happy that I spent the thanksgiving, somehow like the Mid Autumn in China, with my old friend and his family, and it was my first time to eat a turkey. It cost Jiaqi and I two days to finish the big and delicious turkey!!!
I had a very long chat with Sisi, who I haven't met for more than 6 years since she came to the US. We talked all what two girls might talk, clothing, make-up, our parents, and boys, of course.
We spent 6 hours in a coffee shop and a spanish restaurant before the day when Sisi was going to take the CPA exam and we had the longer conversation than the sum of what we had had during the middle school days.
During the conversation with Jiaqi's family and Sisi, all of whom are immigrants of the US and whose first steps in the US were in California in Spring or Summer, I realized why I didn't want to stay in the US the first time I came here. The US left me a very bad impression of the first sight. You may imagining that a 8-year-old girl spent more than 24 hours in the flight and airport for Shanghai-Beijing-Alaska-New York in Jan, almost the coldest time in eastern coast of the US. And the little girl still had to have more than 2-hour-driving trip to Philadelphia in the snowy weather in midnight. I really hated this country at that time and I didn't understand that why so many people wanted to get the green card for I just wanted to throw it.

Yes, sometimes we decide too quickly, for our lives. In my opinion' I really like the U.S. I have been in New York in March,2001. That time I was 18. To stay here or go back is your choice. I wish you good luck and happiness in the future.
