Wave All~~~~~

Dear all,

I surely will miss the graduation on Friday because I will be taking toefl test at that time. And I'm still thinking whether I will join our the downtown trip tomorrow or not. Maybe today is the last day that I see you all, and I felt upset when we finished our grammer test this morning.
One of the reasons why I came here is that I had an unhappy time in the first half of this year. So I wanted to leave home and change the environment for several months. I thought I needed a quiet time to think over myself.
I really have a good time here. I appreciate it that you have brought happiness to me, and I like you all. I'll cherish these days we spent together.
I'll back to Shanghai, China this Sunday. I have other plan in Dec. in Shanghai. Then from Jan. to May in 2008, I'll continue my next session of study in Hong Kong. After that, maybe I'll continue my study in Hong Kong or in the US. I haven't decided yet and it depends on the addimission letter.-.- Or maybe I'll back to Shanghai to work.

I will leave all my contact information bellow. I really hope that we could keep in touch. If anyone of you will make the contact list for us, pls add my information. And if anyone of you has the email address of Scott and Kyle, pls let me know.

My e-mail address is gweina@hotmail.com.
MSN account is gweina@hotmail.com, and I'm a heavy user of msn. If you have one, you can add me. I always open the MSN when I am online. And I am always online whenever I open the laptop. And I always open the laptop even I am not in front of it.=.=
Some of you may use the facebook. You may add my name, Weina Gu. I just open the facebook account this time I come to the US, because I find so many people here contact with each other via facebook. My page is almost empty except some friends in the network. But I will try to build up it more frequently.
Here goes my another blog address. http://gweina.spaces.live.com/. It is a MSN Space; so if you add my MSN account, you can open it directly from the MSN. I'll try to write more in English in that blog.
Last, here is my cell phone number. (86)-13817825916. 86 is the country code for China. I will never change my cell phone number in the future. You can reach me at this number wherever I am, even I'm not in China. You can call me or send me text messages. Remember that I am only one call distance from you!

I'll miss you!!! Don't forget to let me know if you plan to visit Shanghai.
Have a nice day tomorrow!

P.S. My number here, 267-441-4270, will not be used after this saturday night.

my thanksgiving days trip

I have been to San Fransansico during the thanksgiving. I lived with one of my high school classmate, Jiaqi, in Standford and I also have a middle school classmate, Sisi, working in KPMG near Starnford.

Jiaqi's parents came to his house to cook a really big meal for us on thanksgiving. haha, I was a little nervous when first met his parents for I seldom meet parents of a boy at the boy's home. =.= I was so happy that I spent the thanksgiving, somehow like the Mid Autumn in China, with my old friend and his family, and it was my first time to eat a turkey. It cost Jiaqi and I two days to finish the big and delicious turkey!!!

I had a very long chat with Sisi, who I haven't met for more than 6 years since she came to the US. We talked all what two girls might talk, clothing, make-up, our parents, and boys, of course.
We spent 6 hours in a coffee shop and a spanish restaurant before the day when Sisi was going to take the CPA exam and we had the longer conversation than the sum of what we had had during the middle school days.

During the conversation with Jiaqi's family and Sisi, all of whom are immigrants of the US and whose first steps in the US were in California in Spring or Summer, I realized why I didn't want to stay in the US the first time I came here. The US left me a very bad impression of the first sight. You may imagining that a 8-year-old girl spent more than 24 hours in the flight and airport for Shanghai-Beijing-Alaska-New York in Jan, almost the coldest time in eastern coast of the US. And the little girl still had to have more than 2-hour-driving trip to Philadelphia in the snowy weather in midnight. I really hated this country at that time and I didn't understand that why so many people wanted to get the green card for I just wanted to throw it.

1st Post

My new blog from google.~~
Because Scott don't want to make a link to my Space, it seems Americans like goolge more than WindowsLive. =.= Me too. I rely on Google too much that in LA I can't go to a new place without searching on the GoolgeMap first. Even for those in Chinese, I use Google not Baidu. But all the accounts related to my name in gmail are unavailable! I've tried gweina, guweina, weinagu, gu.weina, weina.gu, g.weina, weina.g.........and then gave up.
I'm not a person that can easily accept the new things and forget the old things. So I'll still use the Space though I seldom post on it and most of them are in Chinese. Here is the address: gweina.spaces.live.com
But here, everything will be in English.
